....Project COALS

The Clean Our American Lands and Streams (COALS) Program is a project
of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Initiated in 2004, the program addresses illegal dumping throughout Pennsylvania through a
multi-faceted approach. The Program combines financial support, cleanups,
law enforcement, volunteerism, expanded recycling opportunities and
community education to clean up dumpsites and prevent future dumping.

Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection is leading the way to a cleaner and greener Pennsylvania. PA CleanWays is just one of many COALS partners throughout the state and we are proud to work with like minded organizations such as Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, Pennsylvania Resources Council, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, County Conservation Districts, businesses, local and state government agencies to address Illegal Dumping in Pennsylvania.

For more information about the COALS Program, please visit the DEP Website, keyword "COALS" or call PA CleanWays at 1-877-772-3673.
