COALS
The Clean Our American Lands and Streams (COALS) Program is
a project
of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
Initiated in 2004, the program addresses illegal dumping throughout
Pennsylvania through a
multi-faceted approach. The Program combines financial support,
cleanups,
law enforcement, volunteerism, expanded recycling opportunities
and
community education to clean up dumpsites and prevent future
dumping.
