Joe's Annual 5K Challenge Run and Walk
It’s
not every day you get the chance to eat pizza and help the environment
at the same time. But you can on September 14, 2003! PA CleanWays of
Lawrence County will be the recipient of proceeds from this year’s Pizza
Joe’s 5K Challenge Run and Walk. The 3.1-mile event will be run at 9
a.m. that day at the State Street Pizza Joe’s in New Castle.
This
is the 18th year for the race, which will include a race for youngsters
8 and under prior to the main event. All entrants receive a T-shirt,
as well as pizza and pop after the race. All who participate are also
eligible for free drawings. For more information about the event, contact
