Rachel was new to the neighborhood in Pennsylvania. Rachel
loved the environment. She really loved plants the most. Rachel
was sad because everyone in her neighborhood did not care
about the environment. So she gave Mrs. Heartman a plant.
Mrs. Heartman said, "thank you" and put it on her
window sill.
Four days later, Rachel went to Mrs. Heartman and said "where
is the plant I gave you?" She said it died today. Rachel
was sad because Mrs. Heartman did
not care at all, the same with everyone else. So Rachel had
an idea. She was
going to plant all different trees, some with fruit. She was
going to grow
flowers and Rachel did. Now five years later her town is beautiful
and every-
one cares about the environment.
