Lenny
the Litterbug's Hide and Seek
By Mrs. May's Fourth Graders at Fairview Elementary, Beaver
County
The
fourth grade class at Fairview Elementary School in Midland,
PA, created a rhyming coloring book about litter. After
completing the book, the fourth grade class invited the
first grade class to come and read the book together. Mrs.
May commented, "This proved to be a very positive educational
experience for both classes. While doing this project, my
class learned great cooperation skills by working together
for a common goal. Thank you for sponsoring such a worthwhile
project."
