dumpsite along Sinnemahoning Creek in Sproul
State Forest got cleaned up with help from
PA CleanWays affiliate Clinton County CleanScapes,
Inc. Almost 2 tons of trash was removed from
the site! Volunteers quickly cleaned this
area to bring it back to its natural beauty
as contaminates from the waste will no longer
be running into the creek.
This project
was funded by the Department of Conservation
and Natural Resources (DCNR). DCNR works
in partnership with PA CleanWays to identify
dumpsites and to form community volunteer
teams to help remove the waste under The
Forest Lands Beautification Program
