Grandview Scenic Byway - Allegheny County

In May of 2006, Allegheny CleanWays teamed up with the Mount Washington Community Development Corporation and the City of Pittsburgh to do a cleanup on the Grandview Scenic Byway. In one day, 26 volunteers removed 6 tons of trash, 5 tons of scrap metal, and 57 tires! Funding for this project was provided through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, Community Conservation Partnerships Program.
