the Clean & Green Fund, you can make a real difference
in preserving the natural beauty of our state and the quality
of life in our communities.
Over
28,000 PA CleanWays volunteers have removed nearly 7,100 tons
of trash from Commonwealth roads, trails, parks, and forests.
The approximate removal cost per ton of trash is between $800
and $1,000. The Clean & Green Fund allows PA CleanWays
to apply funds where they are needed most and to assist volunteer
PA CleanWays Chapters across the state.
A
little support goes a long way. Here are some examples of
what your generous
donation can accomplish:
A donation
of $100 could provide a set of recognition signs
to a caring group
who has adopted a road or trail and who have pledged to
help keep it clean.
A donation
of $250 could provide litter activity books to a
dozen classes
and help those students learn more about recycling and reusing
unwanted
items and reducing the amount of trash they throw away.
A donation
of $500 could help to remove 1/2 ton of illegally
dumped trash
and restore a formerly trashed area to its natural beauty.

in any amount are appreciated and help to support our mission
of
empowering people to eliminate illegal dumping and littering
