  • March 27; 8 AM to 3:30 PM; Illegal Dump/Litter Cleanup in Cambria County, sponsored by PA CleanWays of Cambria County. Volunteers are needed to help clean up a large illegal dump on a former strip mine where illegal dumping has occurred for decades. This will be held along Hockenberry Road in Elder Township.   • April 24; 8 AM to 1 PM; Special Collection or Recycling Event in Cambria County, sponsored by PA CleanWays of Cambria County. We are holding our annual appliance and tire collection in Croyle Township. The following fees will apply; appliances with Freon $12, appliances without Freon $6, tires off rim $2, and tires on rim $3.   • May; Special Collection or Recycling Event in Cambria County, sponsored by PA CleanWays of Cambria County. We are sponsoring local Boy Scout Troops to collect fugitive tires around the county.
