Cleanup in Allegheny
County, sponsored
by Allegheny CleanWays.
This cleanup will
take place at the
Lawrenceville Riverfront.
For our last Tireless
event of the season,
we'll be taking
part in the International
Coastal Cleanup
Day. Participants
will clean up litter
and debris along
the Lawrenceville
Riverfront Trail
and the adjacent
Allegheny River
riparian buffer
zone. Equipment,
refreshments, instructions,
and lunch will be
provided. Come dressed
appropriately. We
suggest long pants
and sturdy boots
or shoes and be
prepared for inclement
weather. To get
there from downtown
Pittsburgh, take
Liberty Avenue into
Lawrenceville and
turn left onto 40th
Street. Proceed
towards the 40th
Street Bridge and
turn right just
before you get to
the bridge. Continue
on 40th street.
Park in the parking
lot at the end of
the street. Look
for our table and
banner in the small
park near the trail.
