Illegal Dump/Litter
Cleanup
in Allegheny County,
sponsored by Allegheny
CleanWays. Join
us for a cleanup
of the river bank
and Chateau Trail
along the upper
section of the Ohio
River. As always,
we'll provide equipment,
refreshments, instructions
and entertainment.
Please wear long
pants and sturdy
boots or shoes and
be prepared for
inclement weather.
To get there from
the downtown Hilton,
merge onto 279-N
from Fort Pitt Blvd.,
then merge onto
PA-65N via exit
7B on the left towards
U-19/Ohio River
Blvd. Take Chateau
St/US-19S/West End
Bridge exit towards
PA-51/Western Ave.
Take the Chateau
Street ramp. Stay
straight to go onto
Chateau St. Take
a slight right onto
Beaver, then an
almost immediate
left onto Westhall
Street. Parking
is along Westhall.
Look for our table
and banner near
the trail. For

is a tire, battery,
and appliance collection
that is being held
at the Murrysville
Municipal Building.

by Westmoreland Cleanways. A Backyard Composting Workshop
will be held at the Donohoe Center in Greensburg. Registration

4 PM; Illegal Dump/Litter Cleanup in Bedford County,
sponsored by PA CleanWays of Bedford County. This
cleanup will take place in Napier Township along Old US
30 and is a volunteer cleanup to remove small items left
behind after the contractor/equipment removal of larger

the
ORSANCO

Sweep.
We
will
be
cleaning
up
litter
and
debris
along
the
North
Shore
of
the
Allegheny
River.

This
is
the
second
of
a
series
of
planned
cleanups
in
the
Beechview
Seldom
Seen
Greenway.
For
this
cleanup,
we
are
partnering
with
the
SCA
who
has
been
working
in
the
Greenway
all
spring.
Volunteers
should
meet
in
the
parking
lot
of
Vanucci
Field
and
are
encouraged
to
wear
long
pants
and
sturdy
shoes.
A
light
breakfast,
lunch,
and
cleanup
equipment
will
be
supplied.
