calendar includes events and volunteer opportunities for
all
PA CleanWays Chapters and Affiliates throughout Pennsylvania.

Educational
Event
in
Bedford
County,
sponsored
by
PA
CleanWays
of
Bedford
County.
This
will
be
held
at
Shawnee
State
Park
in
Napier
Township.
Educational
activities
will
supplement
swimming
sessions
with
classes
split
into
two
sections;
one
for
swimming
and
one
for
environmental
programs.
PA
CleanWays
of
Bedford
County
will
have
programs
that
discuss
littering,
illegal
dumping
and
recycling
using
electronic
game
boards
and
other
activities.
Participants
will
be
first
through
fourth
grades.

Illegal
Dump/Litter
Cleanup
in
Allegheny
County,
sponsored
by
Allegheny
CleanWays.
This
cleanup
will
take
place
along
the
Monongahela
River
in
Braddock.
Clean
up
the
rivers
and
make
some
art!
We
will
be
working
to
clean
up
the
river
bank
and
trail
along
the
Monongahela
River
in
Braddock.
Artist
Bob
Johnson,
of
Rivercubes,
will
create
giant
metal
cube
sculptures
from
the
debris
and
scrap
metal
that
we
remove
from
the
area.
Live,
local
music
and
a
time
of
food
and
celebration
will
follow
the
cleanup,
as
always.
Please
wear
long
pants
and
sturdy
boots
or
shoes
and
be
prepared
for
inclement
weather.
We'll
provide
all
of
the
equipment
and
supplies
you'll
need.

there
from
downtown,
take
376
East.
Take
exit
7
towards
Swissvale.
Merge
onto
Monongahela
Avenue,
then
turn
right
onto
the
ramps
to
Braddock.
Merge
onto
Kenmawr
Avenue.
Continue
on
Braddock
Avenue
and
then
turn
right
onto
9th
street,
left
onto
Talbot,
then
right
onto
11th
Street.
Curbside
parking
is
available
along
11th.
Look
for
our
table
and
banner
near
the
river
tail.

Illegal Dump/Litter
Cleanup in Clinton
County, sponsored
by Clinton County
CleanScapes.
This cleanup will
be held on Rt. 664
and Jay Street Park
Pavilion in Woodward
Township. Canoe
or Kayak the West
Branch Susquehanna
River or hike scenic
Farrandsville Road
to remove man-made
debris. Complementary
lunch and refreshments
will be provided.
