Williamsburg Borough, Woodbury and Catherine Townships Team Up for Successful Spring 2003 Cleanup/Recycling Day

On Saturday, October 12th , Williamsburg Borough, Woodbury Township and Catherine Township held a community cleanup for their residents. The purpose of the cleanup was to allow residents to get rid of hard to dispose of, bulky Volunteers at Park Cleanupitems that trash haulers do not normally take. Many residents responded and in 6 hours 14 tons of bulky waste, 120 appliances, 179 tires, 33 electronic items, 41 lead-acid batteries, several tons of scrap metal and two box truck loads of good used furniture were unloaded at the site.
