The transformation
of a vacant lot on the North Side continues thanks to the dedication
of students from City High, The Pittsburgh Project, and the Perry Hilltop
Citizens' Council.
The Allegheny County
Department of Health is supporting PA CleanWays of Allegheny County
and the Perry Hilltop Citizens' Council's efforts in the neighborhood
over a two-year period. Activities in the neighborhood include beautification
projects, illegal dump and litter cleanups, hard-to-recycle item collections,
and anti-litter education. To get involved or learn more about the project,
