2002 Tree Distribution Program

Tree Distribution VolunteersOn October 4 and 5, 2002, PA CleanWays of Allegheny County distributed 1,197 native trees provided through the PA CleanWays—State tree distribution program to groups and individuals for planting in public areas. Groups requesting more than 50 trees traveled directly to the tree bank in Yukon, Westmoreland County, to receive their approved allotment. For quantities less than 50, groups picked up their trees at the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy—Schenley Park Visitors' Center.

A round of applause to the three volunteers who volunteered eight or more hours of help with this year's tree program: Danielle Crumrine and Dave Pawlicki (pictured, above right) and Paul Popp.
